Abair greiseag bhrosnachail, smaoineachail ri sgioba cho laghach’s a tha anns an t-saoghal… Bha grùnnd mhath an làthair air loidhne airson an taisbeanaidh dh’earrann den phìos, agus ged a chuireas Covid stad air oirnn an dealbh-chluiche sgeulachaidh seo agus an sreath iomlan a choileanadh fhathast, tha mi gu mòr an dòchas gun tèid againn a h-uile càil a thoirt gu buil gu ceart ann an ùine nach bi ro fhada.

The first Research & Development Period for Òr Treasure has now come to an end and it has been a profoundly moving, deep experience, for which I am incredibly grateful to all who supported the funding of this period and worked so hard to bring it to fruition. Working with Hopscotch and the Creative team assembled has been one of the most beautiful and smoothest collaborations in my professional life, whilst also being incredibly challenging in the very best way possible. A small audience joined us for the Online Showing of Work and some images are here, showing exerpts of the development and showing process. Whilst Covid leaves us somewhat sadly in hiatus regarding bringing both Òr Treasure and the full Cycle to life for now (with some 1 in 11 people infected in Scotland just now), I truly hope we may be able to bring this work to schools and public audiences in the not too distant future. Deepest thanks again to the Gaelic Arts Fund, from Creative Scotland and administered by Fèisean nan Gàidheal for their crucial support - it has made not just this process possible, but belief in the possibility of continuing this important work of passing on Scotland's incredible Gaelic heritage for all in fun, interactive and uplifting ways, as well as Scotland's important Diaspora Stories.
